first started my rope journey by being tied up. After awhile I started to learn to tie myself. I have been doing ropes for five years, but I have been in kinky scene for almost a decade. I also work as a volunteer and a teacher at Helsinki Shibari. I have been involved in numerous photography projects and I also enjoy performing with ropes.

Tying has been a very central part of my life for years, both with partners and individual play mates. What fascinates me about tying is its versatility. With ropes you can touch another person gently, create tension and atmosphere, explore pain or play with a range of emotions. I am interested in both the technicality of tying and the interaction with the person being tied, where the ropes can be used to listen to, arouse and draw out the other person's reactions.

For me, ropes are a way of meeting another person. The most important thing for me is to create a space where both people feel safe. Consent, trust and the feeling that everyone is seen and heard are core values for me. My work is guided by feminist principles.
